Ismaili: MS has noted progress in the annual auditing report

The Health Ministry has noted progress in the annual report of the National Audition Office, where of the 27 recommendations it had received in 2017, it received only 8 recommendations in 2018. Health Minister Uran Ismaili, who has held a media conference on this report, has made it known. [...]
Health Minister Uran Ismaili, who in this report has held a news conference, has made it known that the report for the ministry leading it has improved markedly and marked progress.
When I arrived as a minister, we found a chaotic and very disturbing situation, and that is what the audience report is saying. Of the worst findings have been the purchase of drugs at abusive prices. We have vowed to make drastic changes, and I am proud today that the number of recommendations we have managed to reduce to 8 out of 27. The report has significantly improved”, he said.
He has mentioned some of the improvements they have made in health.
The drug license at abusive prices, the 2018 report, indicates that drugs were purchased at reference prices. Dismanagement of subsidies for NGOs, we have identified all issues and the entire cycle has improved. The 2017 audience report had big remarks, but we've managed to handle them all. Corruption did no harm anywhere more than in health, which damages the pockets of our citizens”, he said.
USAID Director Lisa Magno, has praised the Health Ministry for the improvements they have made in the audit report.
I would say here my belief that health with education are the most important services a government can offer its citizens. Nothing reinforces the feeling of well - being in citizens more than when a sick member of the family can take up the ministry. That reasonable price medications are available and that doctors can provide better services to patients. This is possible only with a ministry of health that puts the welfare of citizens above all else. Dramatic improvements in the health sector and reforms have been necessary. And USAID has the satisfaction of emphasising the great progress the Health Ministry has made. The greatest success is administrative instruction for the purchase of medical equipment and medicines at standard price”, she said.
