Hill: Five EU countries have their own Kosovos

Christopher Hill recalls that five EU countries “have their own Kosovars”, and he wants it independent.

I am sorry that in 2019 there are still five EU countries that have not yet recognised Kosovo's independence. I understand the reasons, because each has its own Kosovo”, Hill has indicated.

But if you ask me about my position, I love Kosovo that has become an independent state, since its people have wanted it to be independent, but that this independent state is acceptable to its neighbours and all of Europe. There's still a lot of work”, he added,

I think that the Kosovo issue remains a matter that separates Europe from its goal to become whole and in peace”, Hill has expressed.

Christopher Hill (66) today is a professor of diplomatic practice at the University of Danveri, which has started diplomatic experience since he was 26, when he was sent to serve at the American Embassy in Belgrade.
