The government does not fear opposition motion

It has been a long time since opposition parties in Kosovo are aiming to launch a motion to oust the Haradinaj government. An initiative of the first few months had failed, while it has been recurrent in the last two weeks. Days earlier opposition party leaders have started meetings to discuss the return [...]
To that end, the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, has conducted separate meetings during the past week, the chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, and the Social Democratic Party of Shpend Ahmeti.
Likewise, even after meeting with Social Democratic Party Chairman Shpend Ahmeti, in media reports it was said to agree on steps to be taken by the opposition to file a no-confidence motion on the government and to send the country in early parliamentary elections.
Despite these continuing statements by opposition parties to overthrow the government, parties in the ruling coalition say they are not afraid of opposition initiatives. Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj says opposition parties are free to launch the motion for the collapse of the government he leads.
“is a legitimate process of opposition and I think the opposition is implementing its rights. Votes can be given if we value them. We have currently estimated to continue working, so to do the Kosovo works. Use the time for those topics, which matter”, Haradinaj said.
Meanwhile, Democratic Party of Kosovo Parliamentary Group chief Memli Krasniqi told Radio Free Europe that the motion for the government's collapse is an old opposition refrain. According to him, it has been about a year since the LDK, Vetevendosje and PSD, speak of a motion to overthrow the government and have neither the courage nor courage to do so.
“If they were really serious already to initiate the motion, because legally they have it possible, they have sufficient numbers to initiate such a procedure, but the very fact that they haven't done this concrete issue and they speak almost every week, shows that this is more of a attempt to shift attention from their internal problems to another issue, which will not really be concrete to”, Krasniqi says.
Even Bilall the Sheriff, chief of the Social Democrat Initiative Parliamentary Group, said the motion in question is only one of the most common acts of opposition. The sheriff said freely the opposition parties should try to file if they have the numbers.
Sometimes it's best to do both democratic motion exercises, no matter what the outcome might be. But what I can actually say is that I have no conviction that it is the votes to overthrow the government, but this should not discourage the opposition and not file a no no-confidence motion against the government”, the Sheriff said.
On the other hand, LDK deputy Vjosa Osmani has said they have secured 58 signatures for the collapse of the government, adding that the 58 votes secured are of opposition parties and that they have not sought the votes of the Serbian List to bring down Government. To succeed in a motion to overthrow the government, 61 of the 120 votes of Kosovo Assembly deputies are needed.
The three opposition parties -- the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Vetevendosje Movement and the Social Democrat Party -- have a total of 56 deputies in the Kosovo Assembly, and for the success of a no-confidence motion on Government, five votes are needed.
The ruling coalition has lost most in the Assembly since the Serbian List, which is part of the government, has decided to switch to the opposition in the country.
