“contrate for the creation of the FCAS system is expected to be signed Monday during an Aeronautics Fair in Burx1>, the German Defence Ministry announced today.
The contract signing will be monitored by German Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyeen and her French counterpart, Florence Parly.
The demands have come and increased in recent years for Germany and France to unite to create major projects in the defence sector. Not only because of costs but also to remain strategically independent and to be able to produce weapons systems themselves.
