The fight for new talents in football is intensifying.
And what is worse, it is not limited only to two Albanian nationals and neighbouring nationals, Serbia, Montenegro, northern Macedonia, Croatia and Greece. Or even bigger Western places. But now, as Periscop writes, this war has also been fought internationally.
Weeks ago, Arton Zekij of France's Vice-Crimon Lille abandoned Serbia's hopes of becoming a Kosovo National football player. He had even been captain of Serbia U17.
But, weeks before Kosovo scored this great success, it had lost its talent in defence, Ardian Ishmael. Ismajli had been captain of the Kosovo National U21 and moved to Albania's national.
The silent war is already getting even more spectacular. It was Loret Sadiku, who had played for a short time with Albania, which the national left just as the national of Kosovo was formed, which eventually raised its voice.
He said Albania was preventing him from playing again for Kosovo.
“in a historic moment for Kosovo, when playing a friendly match before being recognised by FIFA and U EFA, I told Albania's coach to play in Kosovo, but told me I would have problems if I left. ”- he said.
Meanwhile, unnecessary tensions between the two nationals were best illustrated when Kosovo had defeated 3 to 0 Albania, after which Albanian President Ilir Meta publicly reproved the current Panucci coach. Such a thing had never happened in the world, for a country president to reprove his national coach.
Hard to say what will happen next, but let us pray that our two nationals do not continue unnecessary friction and the great struggle for talent. /Periscope
