It appears Istanbul is still losing Rexhep Tayb Ergogan.

According to BBC reports the candidate for the main opposition party, Ekrem Imamoglu, is leading more than 90 per cent of the votes counted, writes Periscopi.

He also had a surprise victory in March, but was cancelled after the ruling party had filed complaints of irregularities.

Imamoglu's counterCandidate, Binali Yıldırım from the AK party -- that is, from Erdogan's party -- has managed to gather only 45.37 per cent.

Yıldırım has praised Ekrem ãoğlu, saying he wishes him success. /Periscopi
