Epic photo: Spider devours the mouse in Australia

Usually, the mouse is not part of a hunting spider menu.

But a man from Australia has taken a picture from a rare moment where the spider is seen trying to devour a mouse in Mount Field National Park, 64 miles [64 km] northwest of Hobart, follows Periscope from The Guardian.

Justine Latton posted a picture that her husband had taken on a Facebook page dedicated to spiders and insects from Tasmania.

Australian museum manager Graham Milledge also said this was an unusual event.

Many Facebook users were terrified of the possibility of my-eating spiders. Others were amazed. /Periscope
