Corca has found no relief from earthquake quakes, even though several weeks have passed since the first quake caused major damage in some villages. Today there have been two after - one powerful quakes in the Corca area.
The first impact was 3.6 on the Richter scale and has fallen east of Nikolica in Korca. The depth of the first earthquake is taught to have been about 10km.
While the second quake was 3.9 on the Richter scale. The Epicentre has been in south East Drenova in Korca. The shocks have also been felt in the village of Floq and Qafzez.
We remember that residents of both these villages for weeks have abandoned their dwellings and are staying in tents and facilities created by the Albanian Armed Forces and Civil Emergencys.
In the meantime, in terms of dwellings marred by earthquake quakes, the government has promised that all will be compensated. SP-led municipalities are also involved in this initiative.
