One night in space will cost a $350,000 tourist, while companies that will be allowed to take private trips to space lovers are SpaceX and Boeing.
Nasa is expected to allow tourists to the International Space Station starting in 2020, while overnight stays will begin at $33,000 per night. The U.S. Space Agency announced that it will open the station that targets the Earth for tourists and businesses as well.
Vice Director of NASA's Robbyn Gates said that each year, up to two private missions in space will be allowed. Nasa will also allow private astronauts to use her probes for up to 30 days.
“Nasa will open the International Space Station to individuals and businesses as it begins with advertising spaces as never before,” said the agency's financial head, Jeff DeWit, as he presented the project in New York.
The two private companies that will be allowed to use the International Station are SpaceX, and Boeing.
Earlier, Russian space agency Roscosmos allowed scientists and ordinary citizens to visit the station.
