He made these comments at the closing ceremony of the leadership programme through which scholarships and partnerships have been offered at the American and Kosovo universities, supported by the US government and Kosovo.
People are leaving Kosovo because they cannot find jobs unless they belong to the right family or party, and many others are considering leaving.

The US ambassador said that for unblocking the economic potential, the Government of Kosovo should focus on offering young people opportunities to develop the skills needed for jobs, reform in the education system and avoid policy from the education sector.

The American diplomat highlighted the importance of continuing peace in the country, saying companies cannot succeed without justice and perfect peace for Kosovo and its neighbours.
While, Education Minister Fatmir Bytyqi praised the role of the American state in supporting Kosovo as a partner in the field of education.
Program USAID Transformer Leadership (TLP) ) Stocks and Partnerships, this five-year-old activity is aimed at developing a leadership framework that will lead significant changes in Kosovo's economic, political and social fields through stock exchanges, leadership development and partnerships with universities in the US.
TLP has enabled 181 students to earn master-level diplomas and 107 other stock exchangers to complete professional Certificate programmes in the US.
