Clark: Russia's Nis base could destabilise Balkans

Clark was in Kosovo this week to mark the 20th anniversary of NATO's bombings on Serbian targets, which prevented ethnic cleansing.
Clark in an interview for RTK has shown the importance of the presence of NATO troops in Kosovo, which has affected peace and stability in the Balkans.
But he has warned of the danger coming from Russia.
“Putin always leaves an opportunity.. A crisis that is expected to occur. At any moment he needs a crisis, he could start one, maybe here, maybe in Ukraine or in Baltic States”, Clark said.
He pointed to Russian humanitarian base in the Serbian town of Nis.
“It is a humanitarian centre that has the opportunity to use for all”
The Russo-Serbian centre was created in 2012 as a emergency station and is under the control of the Russian Civil Defence Ministry.
