According to the paper, Gernot J was a businessman from Wells of Austria, and had visited Kosovo several times, always for business work.

Among other things, the newspaper writes that he had had a hotel meeting with a business partner.

“Gernot J, descended from Austria's Wales, has visited Kosovo several times. Always business. Like this time. He appears to have had a meeting with a business partner at the hotel in the town of Pristina”, it says.

However, the newspaper raises doubts about the fact that this meeting had taken place and whether it might be related to the death of the Austrian businessman.

“Whether the meeting actually happened, or whether it has anything to do with the death of the 47-year-old, is still unclear. All that's certain, is that Gernot J, was found dead in his hotel room around 1500 p.m.”, posts among other Austrian newspapers, broadcast Express.

Austria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also been announced in the case. This has been confirmed by spokesman Peter Guschelbauer, who has indicated they are in contact with Kosovo authorities and are awaiting the autopsy.

“We are in contact with Kosovo authorities and are now waiting for autopsy”, he said.

Chrone Zeitung says that from its sources it has found that death is being described as suspicious death, leaving open the possibility that a third party will be involved.

“has been ordered an autopsy to clarify the circumstances of death”, said among other things in the Austrian newspaper's writing.
