Arrested after 26 years of Albanian wanted for 3 murders

One of the most wanted Albanians for triple murders has been put in handcuffs by Italian police today. The operation, codenamed “Wanted 3”, which consisted of a co-operation by the State Police, Interpol Tirana, Interpol Roma and Italian Police, has been successfully finalised.
The detainee is a national Bardh Lula (Lulli), 49, born in Lezha. He was declared international after the Lezha Judicial Circle Court, in 1996 sentenced him to “Eternal Burgim” for criminal work “Vrass in other qualitative circumstances”.
In 12 in 1993 he killed with weapons for poor motives 3 people with initials N.L., P.L. and M.L. The 49-year-old was hiding in Italy by name of forged documentation as Bosnian citizens. Authorities say procedures for extradition to Albania of the person sentenced to life imprisonment follow.
