Albin Kurti: There is more violence than poverty in children

A Facebook text indicates that there is no more violence than poverty in children.

Everything seemed normal.

Many children ran in laughter and joy. The playground in the capital park was boiling. Even few adults had become fat and wine. Perhaps they were a little dizzy.

I heard the name of my daughter, who was called by other children. And her voice calling other children. Everything seemed better than normal.

I wasn't who I was. I was my daughter's parent. That's how they looked at me. That's how I felt...

Like for a pole she's now kept for my leg. Other children who encountered them stayed around us. Many large eyes under sweat balls and colorful shoes. There were five, one ran away.

Are you buying us bread? I wasn't sure what I heard. Maybe why I didn't believe it right away. I saw my face on the question I had repeated. “Are you buying us bread?”

One bread, yogurt, three tomatoes, six carrots, ten sausages. Total: 3 euros and 40 cents.

There is no greater violence than poverty in children. Unemployment is individual, poverty is family. Poor family children carry PANajan on their delicate shoulders.

From the European Union, material deprivation, or poverty, is defined as a situation where an individual cannot afford at least four of these following: pay rent, bills or loan installments, keep the house warm, cover unexpected expenses, eat meat or fish every two days, one week off, have a car, washing machine, TV, or telephone.

So many children are poor, deprived of growth, surviving in poverty.

Many large eyes under sweat balls and on unseen shoes will eat up the world.

Nothing is normal.
