In Puls of KTV, Ahmeti has said he wants the government's collapse since tonight, but has added that he has requested better opposition co-ordination and that there be guarantees for a red line, that the LDK will not end later in coalition with the PDK.
We're willing to bring the government down. I've had a meeting with Mustaf where we talked about the crash. We have told him that we have given votes for motion and are interested in two things, to have opposition co-ordination, and not to take them on their own and to tell us come to you too, and that the opposition co-ordination goes towards an agreement that leads to government and alternative collapse for the future. The minimum is guarantee of red lines. We are interested that the LDK then ends up in a coalition with the PDK. That was one of the main things, and the second was that possible maximum efforts can be made not to crash it with Serbian list”, Ahmeti has said.
He added, however, that he did not see co-operation the next day when he saw that the heads of the LDK and VV's Parliamentary Groups had agreed to the text in the government's fall motion.
Speaking of the condition that the government does not collapse with the votes of the Serbian List, Ahmeti has said he does not want the “we give Vuciki the choice to lead us to the elections when he wants to.
We should remove the influence of the Serbian List at least on these major issues. But the government deserves the collapse today due to scandals, for 53 million and for Telekom”, it has added.
Ahmeti, who also holds the post of Negotiator Team chief, has said his biggest focus is in working as Pristina chairman.
Ahmeti: Let no one enjoy the LDK clashes
Shpend Ahmeti has ordered that no one in politics should enjoy internal problems in another party, talking about clashes in the LDK's internal elections.
No one should be happy about such problems, and on the other hand, this indicates that a step is becoming more than necessary. The feeling that is approaching power and that each one will find his own place. The competition we see today I think is good for LDK. Nobody should enjoy the internal political problems of another subject. When we were in VV, when we reached the greatest power, the biggest problems began, not power, but began to have discussions about who is picking on the carpet and starting to suspect each other.
