Dorentina Qerimim makes car fixing in her father's workshop.

I fix cars. I helped my father with the keys before I got my confidence to do something. Customers have never trusted me with anything before. They have not felt comfortable with me. But, in time, I'm the only one they're looking for, says Qem.

She adds that she has received numerous comments that this profession is only for men.

This profession is for men and women, yes. Someone who can handle it... I feel very good about myself with this profession. Many cases have occurred when clients themselves told me that we don't leave the car behind because you screw it up. I said okay... when Dad came to fix it, but I got it, I got it. They're here. I told them Dad fixed it and you can go. I don't know, I'm surprised they don't believe me, and I fix the” myself, she adds.

Prejudice against her has started since high school.

I was also the technical [direction] automechanical school. Unfortunately, I didn't go on any longer than first by professors I had no good words and I was forced to go out, completely interrupting.
