Yasar: In 2008, I proposed the idea for the Tribunal, still better late than ever.

In 2008 Bekim Jashar had nominated the current president, Hashim Thaci, who was then the country's prime minister, the idea for the formation of the International Tribunal for Serbian Crimes. Bekim Jashari, currently head of the Skywright municipality, has told the Online Economy that the proposal for this court had given him since Kosovo declared independence.
Although he did not comment on whether he received support or not for his idea, he refers to a folk proverbious word “better than ever”.
It's a saying of the people later than ever. I have requested this initiative by the current president, at the time of Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, in March 2008 to take steps to establish the war crimes tribunal”, says Jashar.
He points out that all countries that have had war have created war crimes courts. According to him, all those who committed crimes should be tried and punished without exception, regardless of whether they are local or not.
Because any country that's behind the war in the world needs a war crimes court to judge all those who committed crimes who will be local or non-local”.
Yasar expects the current idea of the head of the Assembly, Kadri Wessel, for forming a Tribunal for Serbian crimes in Kosovo, to be avoided, but to go through accelerated procedures.
“I hope this doesn't go into rapid procedures and I said later than ever, this is necessary”.
Jashar says the loss his family and other families have experienced in the country, but every citizen of Kosovo would be rewarded only if there is justice and those who committed crimes will be punished, the Online Economy reports.
And we and all those who have experienced or suffered, but also those who have not suffered as citizens of this country expect to have justice”.
