Kosovo Assembly Chairman, once also head of the Democratic Party Kadri Veseli, has stayed in Mitrovica today, where along with mayoral candidates from this party, the election campaign has been launched.
The election campaign for elections, which will be held on May 19th in the four municipalities in the north, began from Ali Kadri's house in the district of “Vitakut's Kroi”.
Wessel has expressed full support for the PDK candidates by inviting citizens indiscriminately to join the platform of this party, as he said would mean more dignified lives for citizens and better communication among them.
Leader of The PDK said there is only one Mitrovica and will thus be forever, even though it has temporarily been in two administrative units.
He called for unity among Albanians during the campaign, and not necessarily division between themselves. Wessel has suggested that the PDK is in this election race with its candidates, to send a clear message that any part of the country's territory is the same where this party competes with its responsibilities before all citizens indiscriminately.
“We are all for Mitrovica, Mitrovica is Kosovo and Mitrovica is one. What we all have to engage in is to achieve better prosperity, better communication, the better citizens in Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok, Leposaviq and elsewhere, the better our independent and sovereign state will have jobs. Albanians should be as united and as unique as possible, with the use of this possibility, which has created election campaigns, rather than split among themselves”, Veselin said.
He pointed out even though they have decided to compete with PDK candidates. According to him, they have wanted to deliver a message to the citizens of Kosovo.
