The head of state, Hashim Thaci, has hosted the American Morning Prayer delegation, which, along with representatives of ethnic, religious and political communities, has been hosting numerous meetings in Kosovo these days.
Our “Union and co-ordination with the US have always brought success to Kosovo”, Thaci wrote.
The American delegation has warned other meetings during this afternoon.
Otherwise, a US business delegation stayed today at the American Economical Oda in Kosovo, where it met with representatives of businesses operating in Kosovo.
The purpose of their meeting was information about the possibilities Kosovo offers for American investors, O reports EAK through a media communique.
The chairman of the American Oda Board, Ilir Ibrahimi, announced those present with numerous investment opportunities Kosovo offers in various sectors.
He said the large number of successful businesses is evidence of the will and hard work of local businesses to grow further. Ibrahimi said networking between local and American businesses is among the best ways to strengthen relations between the United States of America and Kosovo and to ensure higher numbers of American investments in the country.
One of the American businessmen part of the delegation, Michael Stoltsfus, was interested in the quality of education in the country, as well as the development of entrepreneurship as some of the key pillars for sustainable economic development. Stoltzfus cited Kosovo's youth as a highly valuable asset, which could result in a more stable growth in the country by reflecting on the establishment of a larger number of new companies, which then translates into new jobs.
Furthermore, business representatives discussed opportunities to co-operate with American businesses in concrete projects in various areas, agreeing to continue communication between them
