Success in Belgrade, O'Connell and Bytyqi congratulate school students “Faik Konica”

British Ambassador Ruairí OʹConnell, and Minister of Education Shyqiri Bytyqi will visit the Institute School “Faik Konica” in Pristina on the occasion of success shown in the regional race in Belgrade.
This visit is made under the British Council project “Schools of the 21” century, which is an ambitious project funded by the United Kingdom Government in education, with the goal of increasing the perspective in employment by equipping students with coded skills by using the ymicroboot device, and improving classroom practices, and training teachers of all primary schools in critical thinking and solving problems.
In Kosovo this project is implemented in close co-operation with the Ministry of Education, while primary school “Faik Konica” has been one of the participating schools in the first pilot phase of this project.
The two winning schools from Kosovo in the national competition in coding with microbon equipment “Nazim Gafurri” and “Faik Konica” participated in the regional competition organised under “The Digital Summit in Belgrade”, with whom schools “Faik Konica” won second place.
British Ambassador and Education Minister will visit the school “Faik Konica” in order to congratulate students on the success shown.
