Candidates for mayors from this party have indicated before journalists that according to their unofficial results, the Serbian List has won these elections by over 90 per cent of the vote.
Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakic has called his victory the Serbian people and the state of Serbia in these spaces.
“He declared the victory of the Serbian List, respectively, the Serbian people's victory. What I want to say at the beginning is that the boycott of the opposition and some quasi-sateles here on the ground has not succeeded. The Serbian list has won over 90 per cent of the vote in four northern municipalities. I have unofficial data, according to which in four northern municipalities the Serbian List has won 94.24 per cent of the vote. In northern Mitrovica that percentage is 90.18, which means that in relation to the 2017 elections, 1675 more votes have received the Serbian List. I will repeat once again that the opposition boycott has not succeeded in trying to bring the Serb people into Pristina's hands. Thanks to the state of Serbia, Marko Djuric, Aleksandar Vuciqi, the Government of Serbia, for appealing to the Serbian people for unity”, Rakic has said.
Other candidates for mayors of other municipalities have spoken, saying that the victory of the people and the state of Serbia has been strongly witnessed by this victory.
At the end of this conference for journalists, the audience has been addressed via phone lines and the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuciq, who has welcomed and thanked the Serbian people for the massive appearance of this election.
According to him, this is the best confirmation of the political unity of Serbs about vital and national interests, as well as the most important interests of the state of Serbia.
Our “people have proven enormous energy and the desire that they want to fight for their future and a better tomorrow for their children... With this victory we will not solve all our problems, but we have shown that we want unity in solving these problems and solving them together. I think that after all threats from Albanians and some Serbs, this is the best confirmation of the political unity of war for our vital and national interests and our most important state interests, Vuciq said via telephone.
