Following two public letters from Edi Rama, Lulzim Basha decided to send an open letter to fellow citizens, where he also suggested his response to the prime minister.
Through a Facebook status, Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha has responded to two public letters by Prime Minister Rama. In a post addressed to citizens, Basha has listed the facts that led the country to this situation, ranging from reform to justice, which, according to him, will be delayed for another 4-5 years while the country is without the Constitutional Court and without the Supreme Court.
In his letter, Basha writes that if Rama had any respect for citizens, he should have resigned 20 times.
“Day, after openly announcing that Albanians are better off without courts, Edi Rama sent me a letter to invite me to “dialog”, so that I and he sit down to talk because, according to him, democracy requires it. Indeed democracy requires power to stem from the people and to dialogue with the people, democracy requires that disagreements that people cannot resolve, by vote, resolve by”, wrote Basha in his letter. According to the prime minister, the prime minister should have given up the resignation that made MP criminals, when he returned the country to the drug barn, or since it was proven to have stolen votes, so his position remained cut and held that Rama must leave immediately as prime minister. “The great change we all want, European standards in our Albania can only be achieved by a power derived from the free vote of citizens and exercised on their behalf. Therefore, I invite you to join all of our protests about his departure, and in the national dialogue on the real change we must bring to ensure Albania's European future”, writes among other things the chief democrat.
DP leader Lulzim Basha's full status
Dear fellow citizens,
Yesterday, the Supreme Court was left with only two members, and practically brought to nothing, as it could no longer judge anything. Over 400,000 cases are expected to be considered by this Court -- a large portion of the human rights and property rights issues -- many of them against government violations. For all of you who expect justice it will delay at least 4-5 years and more.
Meanwhile, the Constitutional Court has no member for two years, leaving without any restrictions the power of the prime minister, who now rules with personal farms. Without the Constitutional Court, the prime minister has been released to rob with <x0).
Yesterday, after openly announcing that Albanians are better off without court, Edi Rama sent me a letter to invite me to “dialog”, so that I and he can sit down to talk because, according to him, democracy requires it.
Indeed democracy requires that power be derived from the people and dialogue with the people, democracy requires that disagreements that people cannot resolve by vote.
But for Eddie Rama, the art of democratic government is foreign, he is an artist in the art of fraud. Its entire government has been the robbery and fraud of the people, of public wealth, and the violation of any democratic and western values.
If Edi Rama had even a hint of respect and attention for the people, if he had only one hint of democratic consciousness, he would have resigned at least 20 times in the last six years.
He should have resigned when it was found that criminals had made deputies; when Elvis Roshi became a drug dealer and rapist; when Albania became a drug barn in Europe; when his government star Saimir Tahiri turned out to be a drug dealer; when the Qazim Sejdin company was caught with drugs; when Fatmir Xhafaj was discovered to protect his drug brother; when it was discovered that Olsi Rama was connected to the Xibraka group; when one of them broke out after another hundreds of millions of concessions; when 30 million euros was discovered he wanted to steal from and clean a company with a fake.
Edi Rama should have resigned when it was found that he stole the June 25th elections with Vangush Dakon, Damian Gjiknur and the country's most notorious criminals.
Edi Rama should have resigned when poor people were beaten and killed in cells where they were kept for lights or extra residential bills without permission; when citizens of Shkoza, New Boulevard, Himara, and elsewhere in Albania broke down homes with no pay and no legal process; when he freely poisoned citizens who protest their rights.
Edi Rama should have resigned whenever Albania was refused to open negotiations from the EU; when Albanians began to emigrate in mass without any hope; when Western investors began to leave Albania on their own to be replaced by domestic oligarchs or with Russian or eastern criminals; when European governments were alarmed because Albania returned to a safe basis of organised crime.
Edi Rama should have resigned when it was found to have negotiated Albania's borders as if Albania were his private property. Edi Rama should have resigned when it was found to have negotiated Kosovo's borders as if Kosovo were his private property.
Edi Rama never resigned, but held power by any means, with criminals, with money, with oligarchs, with media, and is devastating the country daily. Totally consumed by power, degraded by crime and corruption, exhausted by any idea and desire to govern, he is today holding back the European future of Albanians.
Dear fellow citizens,
Our country has many deep wounds that require ideas, wills, and jobs to heal. Today, Albania needs a real political, economic and social change. We must free politics from dirty money and autocratia, free the economy from oligarchs, from state monopolies and violence, create opportunities for every Albanian to have the chance to enjoy his work and talent; create a fair society for all.
This is a big challenge for all of us politicians, first of all.
For these challenges we have launched a comprehensive national dialogue. This is the only dialogue that changes Albania and the only dialogue where I will be part.
My firm and firm stand is that Edi Rama must leave the prime minister immediately, because he is the destroyer of free and oppressive elections.
The big change we all want, European standards in our Albania can only be achieved by a power derived from the free vote of citizens and exercised on their behalf.
Therefore, I invite you to join all of our protests about his departure, and the national dialogue on the real change we must bring to ensure Albania's European future.
Honestly.
Lulzim Basha
