Edward Kukan says the European Commission's mandate is until November, according to him, implies dialogue would begin as soon as possible.
In an interview for Serbian Vecernje Novosti, Kukan has said that even Mogherin's role should still be great in this process.
The High Representative's top priorities are still here. It would have to make some moves, continue its role, be active. Right now, I'm not seeing any leadership shown by her that it's very important to do this”, Kukan said, following Periscope.
He has said the evolution of the US and Russia in the dialogue would be a new exchange in the process.
Commenting on the criticism that during his mandate, he was not quite active in the Western Balkan countries, Kukan has responded by saying that authorities see some steps taken, meanwhile, pessimistics think that not enough has been done.
The truth is somewhere in the middle. It is a fact that this process has become very difficult and it is not just because of the Western Balkan countries, but because of the very situation in Europe”, he has said.. /Periscopi/
