The German newspaper Spiegel posted a photo on Tuesday of the car crash with a Global 5000 plane and reported that the driver of the car was an airport worker.
German Air Force has confirmed via posting on Twitter that Chancellor Merkel returned to Berlin with a helicopter Monday after her plane was damaged by the car but did not provide further details.
The accident is a headache the Air Force doesn't need, after a series of published government accidents causing delays for Chancellor and others, writes News18,
