This massacre has been described as one of the largest massacres in Kosovo that has been committed by the Serbian regime.
The survivor of this massacre is also Vetevendosje MP Lieburn Aliu, who has confessed his experiences in this serious event in the Parliament's village.
These months are marking the 20th anniversary of many events and massacres that preceded Kosovo's liberation. It is hard to speak of the slaughter and suffering of our people on their way to deliverance. It is hard to describe the suffering and loss of lives of many young people in these battles and massacres. Our confession makes it easier to take pride in the courage, willpower, and determination of the boys who dropped”, he said.
“Masacre in Dubrava prison for horrors and atrocities does not distinguish from the other massacres and sufferings of our people, not only in the last war, but also in previous wars during the past century. Particularly does the country make this massacre and the way it happened to be in prison massacres against unarmed prisoners and locked in a square space of 12-13 hectares on whose corners are the Watch Towers”, Aliu said.
This space is surrounded by a wall that is 4-5 meters high. Inside this space were 1,000 prisoners who were hit and shot from four sides in May 99. Any movement in an attempt to escape constant shooting by Serbs, we were still in the presence of one of the Watch Towers from which I was constantly language”, he indicated.
Ali has said that for this massacre there are many living evidence, testimony, and witnesses.
All these prisoners were registered in official documents. They all had warrants, charges, or convicts. Most of them have been visited and registered by the international organisation of “During all the time until the day of the massacre, the count and recounting of prisoners from official bodies, according to pre-procedure procedures”, the deputy Vetevendosje in session confessed.
