During this meeting was discussed in the Pre-Accessional Development Instrument, and in this case it has suggested that Kosovo “needs projects that stimulate agricultural development, and support production, agricultural production, and promotion of our exports”, writes Periscopi.
“We discussed the way we should be pursuing the European Union to recognise the structures of the Instrument for Raral Development, in accordance with the Kosovo Government's decision since 2016. In the meeting, I stressed that the need for support from donors in agriculture is extremely great, mainly in the approach of policies and legislation with EU standards in agriculture, in establishing institutional capacities and farmers for agricultural development and improving farmers' access to finance.
