Governments challenge opposition: If you have the votes, bring the motion to the Parliament

National Co-ordinator for State Reform Besnik Tahiri has spoken of recent political developments, the two opposition leaders' meeting, Isa Mustafa (LDK) and Albin Kurti (VV). Tahiri also speaks of government law as well as state reform. Commenting on the recent meeting of Mustafa and Kurti, Tahiri said that since he has become Prime Minister Ramush [...]

Commenting on the recent meeting of Mustafa and Kurti, Tahiri said that since Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has become prime minister, there has been a tendency to bring down Government, and to go to early elections.

The “is normal in a democracy, and those in positions and those in opposition, such as the Democratic League of Kosovo and Vetevendosje, to meet.

If there is a co-ordination of the opposition for the national agenda and for the correction of governance, we have been in opposition for a long time, 10 years, and the opposition's role is inevitable for a good government if they have sustained criticism.

The discussion to bring down Government today has become outdated, since the Haradinaj Government began mandate has done something like that”, he said in an interview at Television.

Tahiri said the opposition and Government should be faced with programmes, and that there has so far been no face-to-face for the tax, dialogue, or any other issue of importance.

The national co-ordinator stressed that the LDK and VV are demanding the collapse of the government due to their internal problems.

“They must say something rather than commend Government, the discurs comes because of the election process in LDK, problems that have occurred in Mitrovica, are being carried in another discurs, and calling for parliamentary elections.

Vetevendosje has a deep, internal crisis, 12 MPs have released the party. They don't have to be shit if they have the votes to bring the motion down and knock down the government”, he got a point.

Among other things, Tahiri praised the government's work, saying the current government has made decisions that could not have been taken for 20 years.

“This Government passed the law on the capital, for salaries, for public officials, for the military, this government showed Serbia the country. This government showed the world that the dialogue was farce. This government has bluntly told Vuciqi that Kosovo territory cannot be affected. He passed Trepca's law, what he did to me more”, he said.

In the end, Tahiri said the two opposition parties, the Democratic League of Kosovo and Vetevendosje, would be better off openly declaring that they are willing to come to power and not try to bring down the Government for functioning. He added that the mandate has been received to bring it to the end, and that ruling coalition partners decide for it.
