In the case of today's operation of Serb arrests in northern Kosovo, EU spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic said Kosovo police operations should be in line with the law.
Asked about Brussels' reaction to the arrest of Serbs in the north, the EU spokeswoman replied that police operations in Mitrovica, aimed at individuals suspected from around the region and the rest of Kosovo, given the Court's order, must be carried out in accordance with the law.
Otherwise, Kosovo special police today have taken action in the north, where they have arrested at least 23 people -- most of them Serb police officers, suspected of crime and corruption -- as well as abuse of duty.
