Early elections in Austria scheduled for September

Chancellor Kurz has suggested yesterday to Austria's president that the announcement of extraordinary elections following the publication of the rightist leader's scandal, Heinz-Christian Strache, who has promised Russian oligarchs favors from Austrian taxpayers' money if they help him in the election.

Kurz and Van Bellen have been talking for an hour after the government's decision to break the coalition with the party. FPO of which Strache is part. After the meeting Van der Bellen has clarified the holding of extraordinary elections in early September.
