Only the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan, who is investigating the manipulations of commanders and the responsibilities of Karadaku's Operture Zone, is verifying about 500 veteran status applications, which are suspected of being fraud.

Gjakova prosecutor, Mitrovica prosecutor investigating 84 cases of fraud veterans

Of the 62 cases being investigated by this prosecutor, according to Mitrovica Foundation Prosecution spokesman Valon Preteni, only two charges have been filed so far.

Basic Pristina prosecutor is investigating three cases of fraud veterans

Unlike the 14 March session of this year in the case known as “Venterians”, where the accused are 12 former heads of the Government Commission for the recognition and Verification of the Status of Veterans, Agim Ceku, Nurredin Lushtaku, Sadik Halitha, Shkumb Demalijaj, Celet Gashi, Ahmet Daku, Rrustem Berisha, Fazliu, Smaj, Fadil Shudij, and Jadij, Kosovo Special Prosecutor, the prosecutor, the UN Special Prosecutor, who had been asked for the 19 grand veterans's pending payment, according to the alleged veterans in the war crimes list.

Otherwise, war veterans' expenses have doubled within years. While 20.2m euros have been spent during the first six months of 2016 for veterans' pensions, this amount has reached 37.8 million more in the first six months of 2018.
