Free check at Dermatology Clinic in June

With the aim of sensibility, Feriz shows that they have organized a whole number of activities that begin from today, from 12: 00 p.m. to 1500 in “Mother Teresa” Square.

There, citizens will be able to ask, inform and instruct if they should go to the dermatologist for further checks.

Feriz told Kosovo Press that these activities will last three days and include training for dermatologists who want to re-approach.

We're going to be in the square, we're going to be together with students and dermatologists, where we're going to deliver some advice, some tracts, which prevention is better than healing, which will probably be enough for at least a number of them to be sensationalized and think maybe they have a mole somewhere and go to dermatologist. Then on Friday, we have the lectures, the presentations, that will be together. Another oncologist we called, Dr. Ekrem Hysen, who will tell us more or less how we have the situation at our oncology institute, where they continue to treat”, she says.

The training that will take place on Saturday, where dermato-surgeon Merita Hajdini Zeqiri from Germany, for Dr. Feriz is of particular importance, as about 30 specialists from Kosovo will have the opportunity to make dermatoscope in order to get to know the manifestations of melanoma earlier.

The third day, which is very important, will be a training, in that sense we have collected a number of patients, with suspicious changes and organized into the Dermatology Clinic. Each patient's dematoscope will be done. Together, all the partisans will see, exchange our experiences, and at the same time do training for skin biopsies, the way they are taken, and what are the main criteria for establishing a skin biopsy”, she says.

And Dermatology Clinic activities will not stop until Saturday, as dermatologist says they will organise free controls for all patients during June.

It orders all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, especially those who note changes in their moles, to consult the dermatologist.

In the banner, which will be located in the city, is the number of Dermatology Clinic, where they will appear and there will be free inspections for the entire month of June, so that we can offer you an initial check to see if anyone has anything suspicious”, Feriz is declared.

Dermatio surgeon Merita Hajdini Zeqiri, who has come from Germany to share her experiences closely as dermatology specialist, says the importance must be placed on the prevention of skin diseases, especially melanoma.

Although the operation work is indiscriminately done because it cures its patients, she says she is more willing to inform people of the potential risk, especially now when the number of people affected by skin cancer has doubled.

And that is not difficult for him, since besides working at the clinic, it is also a regular legalist in various German institutions, for the awareness of citizens against skin cancer.

The goal of this training is to share experiences, along with the clinic in Pristina. I don't know for myself yet what the number of patients affected by melanoma is, but as a white - skinned people, we automatically enter the group of endangered patients in which various skin tumors can eventually develop. In Europe, according to statistics, and according to my experience, the number of skin cancer has doubled in the last five years. It's an alarming state, and there's a lot going on there for the awareness of citizens”, it says.

It shows that on Friday, when training starts, it will focus on the theoretical part of the exchange of experiences, while on Saturday receiving skin biopsy.

On the first day, I'm going to present the most theoretical part, where the participants will see our clinic cases, where we're going to exchange experiences and it's going to be pretty much an active talk, help me out and show what the situation is like here, I'll show you what it's like there... And the second day will be the practical part. There we'll focus on getting skin biopsy”, she says.

It is ordered for protective measures to prevent skin cancer. Its advice includes the release of the sun's radiation from 12 to 15.
