Joy is great. Arba Cocalar's engagement in the Swedish state produced results.
The 34-year-old Albanian became a European Parliament MP.
The colonel, who is of descent from Tirana, is the first Albanian part of this institution.
She and her moderate party received the Swedish vote to become one of the 751 eurodeputs that will represent EU countries in Brussels, reports T7.
Born in 1984, Kokalari derives from the family of the renowned Albanian writer Musine Koklari.
And Sunday's EU election is not that they brought much change.
The group of pro-European centre-left parties has lost most, though these will remain the main parties in the European Parliament.
Good in these choices came the greens and the Alde & En Marche of French President Emannuel Macron.
The event also featured the party of Matteo Salvin, the Italian politician who opposes migration.
These results, Taulant Kryeziu from the Epic Institute, says they do not produce absolute election winners.
Kryeziu says it still cannot be known what the position of EU institutions will be on Kosovo and Dialogue with Serbia.
In the May elections for the fair European Parliament, there were over 400 million citizens.
