(7 years ago)Today it is 20 years from the Vushtrri Massacre where, within a few hours, dozens of people's lives in this city were cut off by Serb police, military, and paramilitary forces. On May 22, 1999, 77 people were killed in the most inhuman way in the city of Vushtrri, while another person is still on [...] lists.
Today it is 20 years from the Vushtrri Massacre where, within a few hours, dozens of people's lives in this city were cut off by Serb police, military, and paramilitary forces.
On May 22, 1999, 77 people were killed in the most inhumanely in Vushtrri City, while another person is still on missing list.
On the same day, many were injured, and hundreds of Vushtrri citizens were also arrested by Serb forces.
Persons killed and massacred by Serbian forces were sent to mass cemetery at Belgrade military ranges to be discovered several years later
To remember this event, under the auspices of Vushtrri municipality Chairman Jafer Tahiri, today the memorial academy dedicated to the fallen martyrs before 20 weeks.
The academy will be held at the <x0mm/Eqebej” at 11:00, while priorly they will be homazhes at the memorial and tomb of martyrs
