Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq declared today that Serbia has not been offered anything similar to the idea of dual sovereignty in northern Kosovo, and that, according to him, something like that will not happen in Berlin either.
“Common sovereignty is always something that is a problematic legal category and the so-called dual sovereignty I don't know what it means. But, no one told me that, no one offered us that and something like that would not happen in Berlin”, Vuciq said at a news conference in Belgrade.
The media earlier speculated that France and Germany would come out on April 29th with a plan for the Kosovo-Serbia agreement, which would accommodate Belgrade's demands to some extent, which did not include partition.
According to the media, the final” plan concerns dual sovereignty, where Kosovo will maintain territorial integrity, but for Serbia to enjoy sovereignty over Serbs in Kosovo and over Serbian churches.
