The Serbian state is trying with all its strength to change world opinion about Kosovo's truth, a recently realised film that makes propaganda against Kosovo's history shows.
In fact, the British daily “The Times” and a part of British opinion have sharply criticised the film “Balkan Subject”, stating that the description of the peninsula's new history undermines regional peace.
The film, which recently appeared in Russia and Serbia, speaks of the Russian forces' free access to Pristina airport during 1999, which occurred shortly after the signing of the Kumanovo Agreement.
“The Times” has called for censorship or not showing the film at British cinemas because it is being described as a propaganda of Putin's “regime in the campaign justifying drastic acts of violence against people who have no protection of”.
The paper also writes that it has <x0 time to end this” campaign, since, according to it, <x2 when falsehood tries to cover up the truth, then life and freedom of the word” are at risk.
It further notes that the film is one of the most visible in Russian cinemas and in several American-Latin states, where Russia has great influence.
It remains to be seen whether it will be censorship or not allowed to appear in the cinemas of Great Britain. Otherwise, several Serbian and Russian state actors have been featured in the roles of Albanians.
