Thaci recalls Lubeijki massacre

Thaci, through Facebook, did this dedication in honour of the fall of Peja Lubenic, where Serb forces massacred 80 innocent Albanian civilians.

” Twenty years ago, on April 1, 1999, Serbian forces killed and massacred 80 innocent civilians in Lubenik, Pec. Facing major losses that were being inflicted on them, Serbian police and military forces throughout the country took revenge on the Albanian civilian population. The freedom and independence we enjoy today is the result of the efforts and sacrifices of many generations, but above all, is the product of the blood and the sacrifice of our heroes, martyrs, and martyrs.
