Kosovo President Hashim Thaci hopes that visa liberalisation will be made in the near future, on the contrary he warned that it would be a great injustice and frustration for the country's citizens.
He at a media conference following his return from Berlin said Kosovo has fulfilled all obligations regarding the visa liberalisation process, fulfilling the demarcation criteria and now remains the EU to lift visas.
The “by 2016 has been the visa demarcation and this has been carried out by Kosovo institutions, and we are now in unnecessary expectation. This is discrimination, fraud, for the citizens of Kosovo, but I hope our message sent there will be taken seriously and will provide us with concrete and tangible support for the future liberalisation to occur, otherwise it would be a major disappointment for Kosovo citizens”, Thaci said.
