Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has reacted to the prime minister's decision, Ramush Haradinaj, for the separation of resources from the Kosovo Government for construction of the Nore Dame Cathedral, which was burned two days ago.
The Kosovo government has divided tools for Notre Dame Cathedral. As long as this tragedy has affected the whole world and Kosovo, so has solidarity everywhere. Seeing world news, money will not be the problem of repairing the cathedral, which will hopefully be renewed quickly.
The funds that the government has allocated would be good to resend them for housing and renovation of the homes of some serious social cases. We recently had some burning houses in some municipalities as a result of disasters, and families were unable to reparu. For the municipality of Pristina we can provide information”, it is expressed.
According to Ahmeti, France has testified to friendship and solidarity and I believe that they know that we're sincerely in pain, and that doesn't improve with money.
“... but, our citizen, the state needs to show them both solidarity and care”, it is expressed.
