Serbia engages US lobbie company against Kosovo tax

The Serbian government has hired an American lobby company to help mainly with Kosovo's tax on Serbian products. The company “Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP” will commit to representing Serbia's interests in the American administration, KTV reports. “We are happy that the Republic of Serbia has received [...] services.
The company “Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP” will commit to representing Serbia's interests in the American administration, KTV reports.
“We are happy that the Republic of Serbia has received the services of our company to represent it on issues related to the US (including direct communication with the U.S. Government), as regards the trade restrictions related to the Kosovo region and Metohija (out of Serbia often referred to as “Kosovo*”, on issues of regional co-operation, including trade restrictions imposed by Kosovo authorities, especially for goods and services origin from Serbia”, the company's letter to the representative.
The letter was sent on March 20, 2019, and this company also represents the interests of Bosnia, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia of Montenegro, in the US.
