The profile of surgeons has been one of the topics discussed in the first nationwide symposium of pediatric surgeons with international participation, held during the week I go, while topics such as neonatial surgery, abdominal surgery, pediatric theracal surgery, urology, and child trauma have been addressed.
Children's Surgery Clinic Director Murat Berisha, in an interview for Kosova Prees, has said that even the question of the need for more profiled surgeons in Kosovo has been laid out in this symposium.
Having not yet completed construction of the Clinic of Pediatrics, the Children's Surgery Clinic operates at the Surgery Clinic, where it has capacity of 35 beds and has 2 operator halls.
The completion of the clinic's construction for Berisha is very important, for according to Berisha, they will be able to offer more quality services to children.
In addition to investments in the device, the director of the Children's Surgery Clinic has stated that much more important is investment in health personnel, which is one of the reasons why all Albanian surgeons have organized the symposium.
According to him, cooperation among surgeons is very important, since surgeons will be able to discuss and exchange various experiences. For this, Berisha says he hopes the symposium will become traditional.
Police surgeons from Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Austria, Switzerland, and Germany have participated in the first Albanian symposium of Pediatric Surgery
