Mustafa: Sali Cekaj left a lasting impression on Kosovo's modern history

LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa has commemorated nation hero Sali Cekaj on the 20th anniversary of his fall in Kostunica.

“With pride we remember Kosovo hero Sali Cekaj, who fell 20 years ago at the Kosare Battle for Kosovo freedom. Sali Cekaj linked the military activity with his political activity by joining Kosovo's Historical President, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova for freedom, independence and democracy”, said in the communiqué issued by the LDK on behalf of President Mustafa.

According to Mustafa, Sali Cekaj, with the greatness of his contribution to the national issue, left a lasting impression on the modern history of statehood in Kosovo.

All citizens of Kosovo honour and respect the work of Hero Sali Cekaj and his work we preserve as the legacy of Kosovo”, said the communique.
