Minister Hodzic's reaction comes after criticism of her appointment to MAPL

Hodzic in this position came after the dismissal of Ivan Teodosijevic, who was dismissed following racist insults against Albanians, and statements about the Rakak massacre.

However, immediately after Hodzic's appointment, there have been major reactions to it, which claim it was exactly the incoming minister who has been in favour of the Serbian List and that he has been against the return of Albanians to their properties.

And Hodzic himself in a statement has responded to the reactions and claims that have come to her.

Calling them political, Hodzic has said all these reactions have certain goals.

All those reactions are political and I believe they are for certain purposes since we are on the verge of local elections in northern Mitrovica. Those statements have nothing to do with the truth”, Hodzic said first.

It has countered the two former PDK candidates in northern and South Mitrovica, Valdete Idrizi and Gonge Chaush, saying there has been co-operation with both in the past.

On the other hand, the new minister has said that, according to her, she has shown that she supports the co-existence of ethnicity and that there are no arguments available.

The North Mitrovica municipality is the only one that has multiethnic staff on each level of governance. We also have directors from the minorities, as it is from the Bosniak minority. I have demonstrated with vivid arguments that I support co-existence and respect all ethnicities”, she said further.

Hodzic has also talked about the return of Serbs to Croin of Vitak in northern Mitrovica, which has said has been politicised, and that according to her is why there has been no result.

When it comes to getting back to Croin of Vitak, Adriana Hodzic was never someone who created politics, I didn't build politics, I was also executive. The policies that build politicians are only implemented through executives. The process of returning to Croin of Vitakut has been politicised for that reason there has been no result. According to Hodzic, the return of Albanians to northern Mitrovica has occurred, and that has happened with its support.

She says she has not spoken publicly about this issue because she did not want this issue to be politicised.
