Astronomer Spring Hyseni has come with an interesting story on the “Success Story” show at RTV Dukaagjini.
Spring Hyseni is head of Club “Astronomy Ocean of Kosovo”. She stayed in the U.S. last year, where she attended a science convention along with 26 astronauts from NASA.
Born in Vushtrri, Spring from high school when she began learning about astronomy, she realized her desire to explore the universe.
She relates that she has read everything in her Albanian language about astronomy, but such literature offered her very basic knowledge.
Things to change when she recognised social networks from astronomers from Croatia, which donated her a professional telescope.
From then on, she has had an opportunity to observe the sun and other heavenly bodies.
Today Spring is at the conclusion of the Geography studies, but its dream is to continue US studies, because it says that more specialised studies can no longer be offered in Kosovo, Telegrafi notes.
Astronomia says Kosovo has very difficult conditions for those who are passionate about astronomy. She says that in UP's physics and geography departments, astronomy is a semetstral subject and does not offer deeper knowledge.
In honor of Kosovo, a prominent international astoride centre that until 2017 was unnamed has named “Spring Hyseni”.
It's the greatest honor I've ever received from any astronomical center. Asterios is about 17 millimeters. Significantly, it is the only Albanian name in space, and perhaps the new generations will learn that there is an Albanian name” in space, Spring further relates.
