The Kosovo Assembly is holding extraordinary sessions regarding Kosovo's departure of young people. Fidan Rekaliu from the LDK, the initiative of this session, called the fact that young people's departure from Kosovo, but not only those of them, he also mentioned the departure of professional people by taking the example of doctors.
Rekaliu also proposed a resolution on behalf of young people.
Especially is the youth flight worried. In addition to the many problems and challenges facing the country's departure is the worst thing that is happening to Kosovo. In my commitments as an MP, the main part of my job is collaboration with young people, with civil society. In my last tour of the conversation with young people was the issue of leaving young people in search of a better life. We have known the reasons for leaving Kosovo, and the main one is without the prospect of a normal life. The situation created by relatives and scandals in party employment with the sole criterion the family and party key kills the dream of staying in Kosovo. It is painful that Kosovo is abandoning even educated young people who were not given the opportunity to prove themselves”, he said.
“ ...are leaving doctors and engineers, not why they don't have financial life insurance, but because institutions don't provide health protection or security for their children. The latest statistics reveal that Kosovo's young lead to leave the country. Despite running to compare 2014-15, despite the release of statistics, citizens of different ages are leaving Kosovo. Kosovo is running out of youth”, Rakaliu said.
He has demanded that concrete steps be taken for youth employment. Rakaliu said that in public sector employment, they must give up family and party employment.
Kosovo's “Zbraza is the worst evil that can happen to the country. I request that they propose a unifying resolution for the protection and advancement of young people in the Republic of Kosovo”, he said.
