Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that for Kosovo, Russia will accept any solution that suits Serbia.
“We have repeatedly stressed that we will accept any solutions that suit Serbia, and score”, was Lavrov's statement after the meeting held in Moscow with Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic.
He explained that they had also discussed the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vuciq, to be held within the forum “Brezi and the” street, in dates from 25 April to 27 April in China.
“Serbia is unable to defend the country's interests without Russia's help”, Dacic said, stressing that Belgrade will not take any action regarding Kosovo without consulting the Russians first.
The Vuciq-Putin meeting takes place two days before Kosovo and Serbia's leaders are gathered in Berlin, under a initiative of two European countries -- Germany and France -- to find a solution that would unblock the dialogue process between the two countries, as well as approach positions for a legally inclusive binding agreement. / TCh/
