Kurti meets with Vasfije Krasniqi

Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti, accompanied by deputies of this political subject, has met the victim of sexual violence during the recent war, Vasfije Krasniqi Goodman.

Kurti said one of the most serious war crimes in Kosovo is sexual violations committed by Serbia's forces.

“This crime shares the fact that Serbia did not suffice to kill Albanians. Their reference to us was never over. So serious has it been that the country's institutions and our post-war society have failed to succeed in having the courage to face this violence against girls and women”, he said.

Meanwhile, concern that justice has not condemned anyone for cases of sexual violence was again highlighted at this meeting.

It told them that the country's institutions should muster up courage and have the will to engage in placing criminals in the face of justice.

The Vetevendosje movement supports Vasfije's mission and initiative to bring justice.
