The event began on Wednesday where the planting of seedlings and flowers at primary school “The same will continue in schools “Sadullah Brestovci” in Gjilan and “Duturia” in Shkabaij in Pristina. It is 60 seedlings with various trees and a considerable part of different flowers that will allow students to breathe more freely in their respective school facilities and have a more relaxed environment.

“KEDS has been part of Earth Day activities since the beginning of its operations. At the same time, we have consistently been committed to improving conditions for students. Hence, scraping these activities, so that on earth we can do something in the best interests of students is not random. There begins every positive change and we want to be part of that 48x1> change, said Mr. Alper Erbas, Director General of KEDS, was planting seedlings at the “Arbrit 31x3> school.

This voluntary initiative has begun Wednesday and will continue until Friday, as on Earth Day, on April 22nd it is a vacation because of the Catholic Easter.

This is not the only activity even in planting seedlings that the company has made or activities in schools.

Last year KEDS has planted seedlings with Pristina municipality initiative in the spaces of the Technical Faculty.

While KED under the Social Responsibilities of the (CSR) Corporation has implemented a series of projects in schools, such as the creation of IT labs, the creation of libraries, the publication of the book for students, then the renovation of a portion of the school in Kamenica and many other activities.

All these activities are carried out by KED and KESCO volunteer workers.
