Up to three hours of waiting in Merdare (Photo)

Periscope has provided several photos from this border point, where expectations reportedly are up to three hours to enter Kosovo from Serbia.

The situation is nothing better than for those going from Kosovo to Serbia.

Even then, waiting is hours.

As can be seen from photos provided by Periscope, long columns have been created at this border point.

Even the latest data from the National Border Management Centre, published at 16:10, also confirms that expectations at Merdare are long.

According to this Centre, citizens are waiting 150 minutes [two and a half hours] to enter Kosovo, while to leave Kosovo, expectations are 90 minutes [one and a half hours].

Thus, the pillar to enter Kosovo in Merdare reaches two and a half miles, while to get out of Kosovo, the column is a mile and a half.

In addition to Merdares, the long wait to enter Kosovo also has at the next border point with Serbia, the White Dheu.

There are waitings for entrances up to 60 minutes, while waiting for five minutes to leave Kosovo.

The border checkpoint in Merdare is one of the busy ones in Kosovo. Columns at this border point have often been blamed for the Serbian border police, for deliberately leaving exiles targeting Kosovo. / P ERISCOPIA
