In the debate on the migration of Kosovo youth, MP Teuta Haxhiu said a step must be taken away to change the current situation.
I propose that all deputies of the Republic of Kosovo Parliament during the mandate of the MP in this legislature, abandon the exercise of the other profession, except the MP, in order to enable young people and the graduates, who are numerous in Kosovo, and are not able to be employed... I propose from today that all parliamentary groups have a representative in a group that I would like to call a commission established, in the way that MPs voluntarily give up the wages and hires to take a Kosovo Assembly budget, which would go whether for the favouring of businesses which would employ youth, or only the Parliament to draft policies on which it would send this budget to”, she said.
She said the documents being issued in the Assembly are not being implemented, so according to her, the Assembly should take quick steps in this direction.
