Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has cleared the need Tuesday to end the topic for “correction” of the border between Kosovo and Serbia. Despite this, he has said it would not oppose the dialogue process between the two countries to be eased by Federica Moghrini, however, that it is for any solution Pristina and Belgrade agree on, whether it touches borders, Koha Ditore writes today.
The executive head said that after the government meeting.
I have no warning who leads it. I have remarks on the principles of dialogue. We have not been opposed to leading the EU high representative, Mrs. Moghrin, but what we've been up against is more complicated. Instead of talking about recognition, because it is the topic that has remained unresolved, it has turned into dialogue, in border and territory discussions”, Prime Minister Haradinaj has said. So this is the warning. It's not about the person. It's only about matter. And the matter was incorrectly discussed”.
The dialogue mediated by Moghrin has been in a bind for months. Serbia has decided not to participate in it, as long as the Government of Kosovo does not lift the 100 per cent fee imposed on products of Serbian origin.
Serbia's prime minister, Anna Brnabiq, has said on Tuesday that the red line of state it represents is this tax.
